J & J Cattle Company is a family-owned farm devoted to raising high-quality, all-natural beef. For generations, our family has maintained a commitment to sustainable, ethical farming, creating an environment where our cattle thrive without the use of antibiotics or hormones.

Our beef is part of a Verified All-Natural program, which means we adhere to rigorous standards to bring you clean, wholesome food. Every animal we raise is treated with care and respect. Calves in our freezer beef program are never given antibiotics; any cattle requiring treatment are carefully documented and raised separately. Through partnerships with respected organizations, we ensure our practices are regularly audited to meet high standards in animal welfare and land stewardship.

Our conservation practices, in collaboration with the NRCS, include no-till farming to prevent erosion, rotational grazing for sustainable land use, and effective weed control, preserving the land for future generations. We are also proud participants in programs such as BEEFTRAXX, NHTC, and GAP, which enforce strict guidelines on hormone-free and age-verified cattle. Each audit reaffirms our dedication to transparency and our passion for providing high-quality beef from farm to table.

Our Story

Family-Owned Farm

The Jackson family’s roots in agriculture run deep. For over 30 years, we were dedicated to dairy farming until 2018, when rising feed costs and falling milk prices led us to make the difficult decision to sell our dairy herd.

In 2019, Amanda Jackson returned home from Wyoming and joined forces with her father, Stan, to start J & J Cattle Company. Together, they combined their passion and expertise to build a new chapter, focusing on high-quality beef production. We began with Brangus cattle but soon transitioned to a predominantly Angus herd, valued for their exceptional beef quality and marbling.

Our cattle are raised on pasture for their entire lives and are finished with a specially formulated grain ration in their final 90-120 days. This balanced diet, designed by a professional bovine nutritionist, enhances the marbling and flavor of our beef, resulting in a premium product we’re proud to offer.
